These terms apply when you send clipper blades or scissors to Resharp Limited (“Resharp”, “we”, “us”). By sending us an order you accept them. They are written for veterinary clinics and professional groomers in Ireland and Northern Ireland. If anything here conflicts with a written quote we have given you, the quote wins for that order.

2. The service
We professionally sharpen A5-type clipper blades and scissors or shears used in small-animal veterinary and grooming work. We do not sell tools, and we do not sharpen items outside that range unless we agree in writing first.
3. Sending tools to us
Pack edges so they cannot cut through the parcel or damage each other. You are responsible for the outbound postage and for what is in the box until it reaches us. Use the address label we send you. Include a simple list of what is in the parcel (clinic or salon name, contact, and item count).
Title to the tools stays with you. We hold them only to carry out the work and return them after payment.
4. What we can sharpen
We restore blades and scissors that are in serviceable condition. Heavily rusted, cracked or damaged items (for example missing teeth, bent tips, or a broken screw) cannot be sharpened effectively. We will tell you and return those items unprocessed. We do not charge a sharpening fee for items we cannot work on; return postage still follows section 7.
5. Prices, VAT and invoices
Current prices are on resharp.ie and are in euro, exclusive of VAT. Irish sharpening services are charged at the reduced VAT rate unless a line is zero-rated or exempt. Qualifying intra-EU / Northern Ireland supplies are invoiced under reverse charge where the rules allow — we will need a valid customer VAT number.
After sharpening we send an invoice. The invoice is the contract record for that job. Please check it when it arrives.
6. Payment releases the return
We do not run credit accounts. Payment is due on the invoice date unless the invoice says otherwise. We post the tools back only when that invoice is paid in full. Preferred payment is Revolut (card accepted). SEPA transfer is a fallback and can take 1–2 working days to show.
If we later issue a credit note on an invoice that was already paid, we refund the credit. We do not leave balances sitting on your account to use against a future order, unless we both agree in writing.
7. Return delivery
Welcome offer: free return delivery on your first order of €30 or more (ex VAT), quote code WELCOME30. After that, return delivery is free on every order of €60 or more (ex VAT). Below those thresholds, return postage is charged at €8 (ex VAT) on the invoice. Most paid orders are back with you within a few working days.
Risk in the tools passes back to you when we hand the parcel to the carrier. If a return goes missing, we will help you raise it with the carrier.
8. Late payment and uncollected tools
If an invoice is overdue we may send reminders. The tools stay with us until the invoice is paid. We will normally hold an unpaid job for 60 days from the due date.
If it is still unpaid after that, we will write to you at the email or address we have on file and give at least 30 days’ notice. If the invoice remains unpaid at the end of that notice, we may treat the items as uncollected and recycle or dispose of them. We will not sell your tools as a way of settling the invoice.
Storage fees are not charged unless we have told you in writing first.
9. 9 Lives Loyalty Club
Paid sharpenings earn stamps on separate blade and scissor cards. The tenth sharpening of that type is free, subject to the rules on the loyalty page. Cards have no cash value and are not transferable.
10. Care and liability
We take reasonable care of tools while they are with us and we sharpen them with professional equipment and judgement. Sharpening removes a small amount of metal. We are not responsible for existing damage, hidden faults, or normal wear that remains after a proper sharpening.
If we lose or clearly damage an item through our own lack of care, our liability is limited to the reasonable replacement cost of that item or a refund of the sharpening fee for that item — whichever is less — and in any event not more than the total paid on that invoice. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
11. Changes
We may update these terms. The version on this page on the date you send an order is the one that applies to that order. Prices and the welcome offer can change; the website on that date is the reference.
12. Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Ireland. Irish courts have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer with statutory rights, those rights are not affected.
